Hello Mr Anaya, yes very true. However, it seems that humans are more preoccupied with social issues (social justice) and politics (of the group-identity kind) than actual serious concerns about the planet or environment. Or, when people DO (claim to) care about the environment, they trend to blend those concerns in again with politics and social justice to bring in political programs or projects that they favor for political and economic gain, rather than to really prioritize the environment (so, I think real environmentalism probably doesn’t really exist much anymore).

I think many real solutions are never even tabled, because they are not politically expedient for anyone, but this is only because people are so political (or, ideological perhaps… ) that they are unable to think outside of the current dominant political frameworks. So, for example, even if localization and self-sufficiency – which would mean decentralization – would be the obvious way to go, it cannot be tabled because it is basically a political taboo for many people (and of course most people probably don’t really want to be self-sufficient, they prefer the state to look after them with lots of safety-nets, etc … 😉 )

I will have the next Part (1-C) ready in about 3 weeks since it’s taking more time to put together, but I promise it will be worth the wait! Part 1-D should be ready towards the end of the year.
